Natural Smokey Eye Tutorial
Amber Ward Natural Smokey Eye Tutorial
1) With a fluffy brush, apply Amber Ward Natural Mineral Veil Primer in Ethereal Matt Finish. This will combat any excess oils and will create a smooth base for the eyeshadows.
2) With a fluffy blending brush, apply Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Sahara Sheen to the crease. Sweep the colour on in smooth windscreen wiper motions, to ensure that the colour is well blended.
3) On a flat eyeshadow brush, lightly pack Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Starburst on the centre of the lid. This will brighten the eye and will make future colours more intense. Also apply Starburst to the brow bone. This will brighten up the look and will lift the brow.
4) With a smaller fluffy brush, apply Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Midas to the outer third of the eye. First apply this colour in a 'C' shape on the outer corner of the eye, dragging the colour through the crease. To create a diffused and smokey finish, blend the colour in small circular motions.
5) On a flat eyeshadow brush, lightly pack Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Foxy on the very centre of the lid. Blend the shadow lightly with a small fluffy blending brush. Reapply and repeat until you have the intensity desired.
6) With a small detailer or angled brush, apply Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Midas to the upper lash line. Wiggle this colour into the lashes, moving the brush backwards and forwards. This will ensure that the colour is well blended and smokey.
7) On the tip of a flat eyeshadow brush, take Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Sahara Sheen and apply that to the lower lash line.
8) Then, on the same brush, apply Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Midas and apply that to the outer third of the lower lash line. Move the brush backwards and forwards to blend the two colours together.
9) On a pencil brush, take Amber Ward Mineral Eyeshadow in Starburst and apply that to the inner third of the lower lash line. Also apply this colour to the inner corner of the eye; this will brighten the eye and will make you appear more awake.
10) Apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes. Finish the look with a pair of natural-looking lashes.
